Acceptance of these terms

Zeekin Around (zeekinaround.com) is a product of Any Kinda App LLC (“we”, “us”). By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

The service

Zeekin Around provides study materials for pilots preparing for FAA checkrides — study guides organized around the Airman Certification Standards, flashcards with spaced-repetition review, and practice tools.

Aviation disclaimer — read this one

Zeekin Around is a study aid. It is not flight instruction, and it is not a substitute for a certificated flight instructor, official FAA publications, or current regulations. Aviation source material changes; always verify against current FAA sources and your instructor's guidance. As pilot in command, you remain directly responsible for, and the final authority as to, the operation of your aircraft (14 CFR 91.3). We work hard to keep our content accurate, but we make no guarantee that it is complete, current, or error-free.

Your account

Provide accurate information when creating an account, and keep your sign-in credentials to yourself. You're responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 to purchase a subscription, or 13–17 with a parent or guardian's permission and involvement. The service is not intended for children under 13.

Subscriptions & billing

Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe at the prices shown at checkout (currently $9/month or $36/year, USD).
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) at the price shown at checkout, until you cancel. We'll email you a receipt after each renewal.
Cancel anytime from your account page. Your access continues through the end of the period you've paid for; no further charges after that.
Not happy? Email support@zeekinaround.com within 14 days of a charge and we'll refund it in full.
Prices may change; we'll give you notice before any change affects an active subscription.
Donations. If you choose to support the project with a voluntary pay-what-you-want contribution, thank you — donations are optional, are not a purchase of any product or service, and are non-refundable.

Free tier

Parts of the service are available for free. We may adjust what the free tier includes over time.

Acceptable use

Use the service for your own study. Don't scrape, copy, resell, or redistribute the content; don't attempt to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the service; don't use it for anything unlawful.

Intellectual property

The service's content, organization, and presentation belong to us or our licensors. Underlying FAA source materials are in the public domain — our original writing, structure, and tools built around them are not.

No warranty & limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Termination

You can stop using the service or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

General

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. These terms are the entire agreement between us about the service. We may assign these terms to a successor (for example, in a sale of the business); you may not assign yours. You agree to cover losses arising from your misuse of the service or violation of these terms.

Changes to these terms

If we make material changes, we'll update this page and the date above. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
